Here’s a list of some of My Favorite Books for Preschoolers! This is one of my favorite age groups to work with. They are so fun, so innocent, and are just little sponges with absorbing information. I hope this list is helpful for you when choosing books for your preschooler!
Maurice Sendak’s Caldecott Medal-winning picture book has become one of the most highly acclaimed and best-loved children’s books of all time. A must for every child’s bookshelf. The illustrations are phenomenal, and the storyline is heartwarming.
Curious George Classic Collection
Curious George is my all time favorite preschool character. I just love the innocence of his shenanigans. I couldn’t decide on my favorite Curious George book so I’m recommending this collection. It has some great titles in this set.
All by Myself – Little Critter
Mercer Mayer’s Little Critter wants to show you all the things he can do for himself in this classic, funny, and heartwarming book. A perfect way to teach children about independence!
The Berenstain Bears and the Golden Rule
I love the Berenstain Bears books and so did our kids. There are so many to choose from, but this one teaches kids about The Golden Rule. Children will discover choosing to be kind may not always be the easy choice, but it is always the right one.
This is another classic book series that I love for this age group. Clifford, the Big Red Dog, is a sweet companion for Emily Elizabeth. In this book, Emily Elizabeth is starting kindergarten, and she’s a little nervous. Good thing Clifford can join her for a day!
I love this book! It’s a super sweet book about little Chester who is nervous to start school. To help ease Chester’s fears, Mrs. Raccoon shares a family secret called the Kissing Hand to give him the reassurance of her love any time his world feels a little scary. It comes with heart stickers to share with your little one!
Okay, I could keep going with My Favorite Books for Preschoolers as I have so many that I absolutely love! I guess I’ll have to do another post or two to recommend more! Happy shopping, and enjoy the cuddles while reading with your preschoolers 🙂
